Moda: Partying in style
Suzanna Bain reports on Moda's February gala party - and meets Shane Lynch

Moda parties always deliver - and this season's was no different.

The stylish event brought together scores of well-heeled guests from all sectors of the fashion industry, including wholesalers, buyers, retailers, agents and press.

Along with Moda event organisers and members of the WWB editorial and advertising teams, representatives from sister magazines MWB, FE and CWB were also in attendance.

The event was held at the Hilton hotel, near the Birmingham NEC.

But although plenty of networking was done and a fair few bottles of bubbly were consumed, it wasn't all about work: Guests were also treated to a delicious three-course meal and music from a live band.

There was also plenty of excited chatter about special guest Shane Lynch, who came along to meet other industry insiders and promote his clothing line, while experiencing the legendary party atmosphere.

Lynch attended Moda earlier that day, to do a live stage talk with Moda's commercial director Nick Cook, discussing his collaboration with menswear label 1952.
